Candace Miller

Principal at Miller Architects, Candace received her architectural education at Montana State University and Rhode Island School of Design. She has worked in the profession since 1985 and in private practice since 1992. NCARB-certified, Candace holds licenses in Montana, Wyoming and Colorado.

A profound appreciation of the American West brings a quality of timelessness to Candace’s design. Her buildings are both elegant and casual, capturing the romance and reality of life in the West. Meticulous attention to use of space, materials, detail and consistent quality are hallmarks of homes produced by Miller Architects.

Candace’s work has been featured in publications including Architectural Digest, Western Interiors and Design, Veranda, and Big Sky Journal, and several books such as Cabin Fever, Weekend Houses, Cabin Style, and Snow Country. She has been widely recognized by industry associations, with recent awards including the AIA Montana Design Award.

Slifer Designs

Established in Vail, Colorado in 1984, Slifer Designs is the nation’s authority on luxury resort interior design.
